A family budget is a plan for recording and distributing the financial resources used in a family. A competently drawn-up plan lets you raise your financial standing, avoid stress when unforeseen costs arise and reach your set financial goals. When drawing up a plan you should take into account the factors that affect it. They are divided into external and internal. The main basis for planning is internal factors. The main one is the composition of the family. The amount of income and expenses depends on the number of able-bodied and non-able-bodied persons. A family of two has smaller needs than parents with children. Their income, however, may be the same. The level of income is the next factor affecting how the budget is formed. Families of exactly the same composition can have different incomes depending on the source and size of their receipts. All internal factors can be foreseen when drawing up a budget and influenced. That is, you can increase your own income through additional earnings or give up expenses by eliminating some needs. External factors play an important role too: they affect all areas of the economy and such small cells as a family budget. The most important of these factors is rising prices. This circumstance is not under your personal control, and you have to adapt to it. If prices change during the planned period, it will be quite difficult to stay within the plan. So this factor must be taken into account when drawing up a plan. For this you can use reserve funds. They let you cover all the necessary difficulties. Price rises can be forecast. As a rule, they are subject to a chain reaction. If raw materials become more expensive, products made from them rise in price too. This can be understood from the example of sugar. When it gets more expensive, the price of sweets, pastries and other food products rises. A wheat crop failure leads to higher prices not only for flour but also for all livestock products. This is not only raw material but also feed for animals, which provide meat, eggs, dairy products, etc. By foreseeing price rises, you can build them into your family budget. That is, the plan should take into account a cost higher than it was in the planned period.
