Home accounting offers several methods of distributing income. As a rule, they are aimed at improving financial stability. One of them is described in the article "Expense planning norms in home accounting". This method of distributing funds is considered one of the best, but not the only one. Let us look at the most popular methods. One of them is called "six steps". It divides the expense side of the budget into 6 main items and distributes funds among them in the following percentages. The first step is to create a money fund for financial independence. For this you need to set up a savings fund and regularly put 10% of any income received into it. That is, this sum is deducted both from salary and from money gifts for a celebration or from bonuses. The next step is to create a fund for making major purchases. Even if at the start of keeping accounts you plan nothing of the kind, it is still worth creating this fund, so that if the need arises you will be able to quickly collect the funds. The source of contributions to this fund will be monthly income, and they should make up 10%. Do not forget about current expenses. Setting aside funds to cover them is the next step of this method. According to it, funds for these purposes should be allocated from monthly income and will make up 55%. This method also involves deductions from monthly income of 10% for self-education. This item can include the education of all family members, paid consultations, seminars and the purchase of literature. Also do not forget about hobbies, rest and entertainment. This method allocates 10% of monthly income to them. And the most interesting thing provided for by this very method is allocating 5% of monthly income to charity. You can put it in monthly or accumulate it over a whole year and then make a one-off donation. This method is based on the theory described in the book "The Road to Financial Independence" by Bodo Schäfer. The author notes that people who include the 6th item from the above in their budget do not lack money. There is another fairly well-known way of distributing the financial income of a family budget. It is called "50-20-30". This method involves only three expense items and the following percentage distribution of income:

mandatory expenses – 50%;

secondary or personal expenses – 30%;

allocation of funds to a savings fund – 20%.

As you can see, all the methods involve creating savings funds. You can try each of them in practice and choose the most convenient one for your family. All of them can be applied when keeping records with the Online home accounting service.
